Poem of the Day: A Wasted Man

A Wasted Man

She liked him more, but knew him less
She hated the skag for having him for her own
And hated that he, who seemed so smart,
So level headed,
Would stay with such a witch
“Couldn’t he see?”
She hated most, the waste of such a nice man
But he is not hers
And that’s the way it went
